Activ’s Registered Training Organisation, Activ Pathways, recently hosted a Graduation Ceremony for people with disabilities at the Quality Lord Forrest Hotel in Bunbury. The evening was attended by special guests, including Bunbury Mayor David Smith.
On the night, 17 people with a disability from the South West region were presented with either a Certificate I in Leadership Development or a Certificate I in Manufacturing, in front of family, friends, local community members and Activ staff.
“It was really touching to see these achievements being presented. For me, the Graduation Ceremony is the icing on the cake of what we do,” said Rosemary Kernohan, Activ’s Training & Assessment Manager.
Activ Pathways provides nationally recognised training courses and qualifications to people with disabilities in Western Australia, enabling them to increase their work skills and enhance their opportunities for a stimulating and fulfilling career.
