At first I thought I would take them to the movies and see if we could find one movie that all of them hadn't seen yet. But then I remembered hearing about a new activity that could be fun, only 25 minutes from Bunbury. It sounded really weird: Ferguson Valley Disc Golf. Yes... disc golf. What was that!? From their adverts in the local paper it looked like playing a game of golf but with a frisbee instead of golf clubs.

So once we confirmed that they were open we jumped in the car and headed off. After arriving we checked in at the office, chose a coloured disc each and, armed with a scoring sheet and pencil, we were away.

We did the 9 holes with fun and a lot of laughter. I must say it took me a while to get some accuracy and the children I took were beating me with great skill. None of us had ever done this before and so unlike going to the movies we did something new that day, learnt new skills, plus got some exercise and fresh air.
