2006 SOUTH WESTERN TIMES SURVEY
Please note: Entries for the 2006 South Western Times Survey are now closed.
Bunbury Regional Art Galleries invites entries from artists and artisans for the region’s premier visual arts festival, the South Western Times Survey 2006.
The South Western Times Survey 2006 is open to all South West residents and features over $10,000 in total prize monies, including the City of Bunbury Art Collection Acquisitive Award.
Artists may submit a maximum of two entries in any visual arts media. Entry forms are available from the Galleries or online from www.southwestlife.com.au
“This year we hope to again see a wide variety of artworks submitted by both established and emerging artists, “ says Simon Long, Acting Director of the Galleries, “To enable the exhibition to be truly representative of the current state and scope of visual arts practice in the South West we felt it needed to expand.” |

As a result, the Survey this year will be bigger than it has ever been. “This year for the first time ever, the South Western Times Survey will take over all the galleries. With the inclusion of the City Gallery we expect to accommodate more work with less interference to individual pieces.” Mr. Long adds, “This will allow greater representation of artists and more works for the public to view.”
In keeping with tradition, the South Western Times Survey 2006 will open with a street festival in front of Bunbury Regional Art Galleries on Saturday 18th February 2006 and runs until 2nd April 2006.
